I'm Due! I'm Due!

Today was my official due date. And Elijah was inside my tummy the whole time laughing at us. Guess he isn't too into "schedules".
Maybe I should drink that raspberry tea and go on a really long walk tomorrow! I want him to come out! Hopefully I won't go too over my due date! *crosses fingers*

We watched a c-section video tonight at Lamaze.....yup...I officially don't want THAT to happen to me....ever!

Natty, Hang in there! You are doing such an awesome job and God knows when Elijah's Birthday is supposed to be. And don't worry, Jesus is going to be with you through the whole birthing process, no matter what happens... I don't think you are going to have any problems doing a natural birth. You are going to do wonderfully! In the meantime, while you are waiting for the grand appearance, post pics of the new way you hung up Elijah's letters! :)

yesterday was Elvis Presleys birthday, guess Elijah won't be sharing it! I am checking your blog everyday to see if he has come. Hopefully someone will post for you. You are going to be a great mommy! I love the newborn stage, babies are so sweet and the way a mommy connects and learns the ways of her baby , even so tiny, amazes me. Blessings to you and your boyfriend!

I drank raspberry tea with Jude to "induce" labor and it "worked"...although it WAS his actual due date! I took a brisk walk a few days before Lucy was born and fell on the sidewalk on my hands and knees, so I was all scraped and bruised when I was in labor with her.

So my advice is....JUST REST!!! Elijah will come soon enough :) Hang in there, Nat, you're going to do great when the time comes...

Natalie,
I don't know if you remember me or not. My younger sister is Lindsay Jensen. You guys were in the same class at Faith Christian. Anyways,
I have been keeping up with your "baby adventures" since I found Alison's blog a few months ago. I have 2 kids of my own and both of them were born by c-section. While it is more uncomfortable afterwards, it really wasn't THAT bad. In fact, I am hoping that we will be having another one in a year or so. Trust me when I say that it is all worth it. I hope you are getting good rest now and try not to be too anxious. (Easier said than done I know!).
